Abstract
Qi is a kind of vital energy, which can emit from trained human. The anti-bacterial effect of Qi-treatment was analyzed on the Sprague-Dawley rats, which were inoculated by the intra-joint cavity with pathogenic S. aureus(108cfu/ml) strain. Among the Qi-treated rats, we could not find any death animal(0%) and abnormal clinical signs, except for only slight joint swelling on the inoculated leg. However, all the Qi-non-treated rats were died(100%) within the 13th day after S. aureus inoculation. S. aureus strain inoculated was re-isolated from the enlarged and congested liver and spleen of dead animals in the autopsy. Therefore, we found that Qi-treatment expressed very characteristic anti-bacterial effects on the artificial animal infection test model using the S. aureus strain.
